Make sure GSV200.DBL is locked and in closed position by moving the movable handle backwards to lock on the ratchet spring and the light switch to the on position. Holding the scope with your left hand, push the ratchet spring bar upward with your thumb to secure GSV200.DBL in closed position and perform direct laryngoscopy exposing the laryngeal opening, and when the laryngeal opening (glottis) is visible perform direct visual intubation.
